Italian journalist, writer, politician and television author , who grew up in Sesto San Giovanni, began dealing with sports and news for the newspapers La Notte, La Gazzetta dello Sport and La Stampa. However, a large part of his career is linked to the newspaper La Repubblica, of which he was a columnist from 1995 to 2021, before moving on to the newspaper Domani from last year.
Author of documentaries, as a television author he collaborated with Corrado Guzzanti in the realization of the program The Scafroglia case, as well as with Maurizio Crozza and Enrico Bertolino. From 2014 to 2019 he had been MEP for the L'Altra Europa list with Tsipras .
