A packed square for nearly two hours of live music: Alfa's concert transformed La Maddalena, on a damp and cold December evening, into a single, powerful voice, sparking enthusiasm and emotion in an audience of all ages. Youngsters accompanied by their parents, entire families, but also adults and not-so-young people, who came from other towns in Gallura and further afield.
The San Domenico Savio city band enriched the event with a particularly appreciated orchestral touch, while the talented island singer Irene Calvia was called to open the concert.
For over an hour and a half, Alfa held the stage, giving an intense and participatory live performance, with the crowd singing at the top of their lungs hits like “A me piace”, “Cin Cin”, “TeStA Tra Le NuVoLe, pT2”, “Bellissimissima” and “Vai!”, “Vabbé ciao” in a continuous chorus that united the artist and the audience.
In anticipation of the extraordinary turnout, additional nighttime Delcomar ferry services were scheduled, with resident-rate tickets available to everyone to encourage participation from other towns. "When you realize it's not just summer because of the temperature..." Mayor Fabio Lai commented with satisfaction. "Natalisola is a wonderful project that continues to grow, entertaining us, and making people talk about us." And the large crowd in attendance proved him right, rewarding the work of councilors Stefania Terrazzoni and Luca Falchi.
