Cristiano Ronaldo takes home a victory in the arbitration against Juve on the salary issue.

The Juventus club will have to pay 9,774,166.66 euros to the Portuguese champion, based on what was established - partially accepting the request formulated by CR7 - by the arbitration award of the League, the FIGC and the Footballers' Association, which thus «ascertained the pre-contractual liability of Juventus ».

The dispute refers to some monthly payments that the player had not received, due to the salary adjustment, during the Covid period. Ronaldo had asked for almost double, but the sum that Juve will have to pay as compensation for damages was halved because, according to the arbitration, the player had contributory negligence.
