Cagliari still have no certainty of safety, forced to remain on tenterhooks following Cremonese's victory over Pisa.
In the 36th matchday at the Zini , the Grigiorossi won 3-0 (goals from Vardy, Bonazzoli and Okereke, with the Tuscans reduced to nine men), thus moving up to 31 points in the standings.
With six points still up for grabs, Cagliari – at 37 points – cannot yet say they are at peace. Between the rossoblù and grigiorossi is Lecce, at 32 points.
It's crucial for Pisacane's men to secure points in their last two remaining matches, starting with next Sunday's match against Torino . Next up, Cremonese travels to Udinese , while Lecce plays away against Sassuolo . On the final matchday, Cagliari, Cremonese, and Lecce face Milan (away), Como (at home), and Genoa (at home), respectively.
Fiorentina, on the other hand, celebrated (despite the fans' boos for their disappointing season) by drawing 0-0 with Genoa, rising to 38 points and remaining in Serie A.
