Covid cases are on the rise in 36 of the 107 Italian provinces, forming four confirmed clusters, one of which concerns the provinces of Nuoro and South Sardinia.

This is indicated by the analysis of the mathematician Giovanni Sebastiani of the Institute for Calculus Applications of the National Research Council .

Again according to the Cnr, in 67 other Italian provinces - including those of Cagliari, Oristano, Sassari - there is instead a situation of stagnation, which in many cases heralds a phase of increase.

"The cluster with the highest number of provinces where the incidence is increasing - underlines Sebastiani - concerns the Centre-North of the Peninsula and is made up of the provinces of Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona, Lodi, Mantua, Milan, Monza and Brianza, Rovigo, Verona, Vicenza, Treviso, Genoa, Bologna, Forlì-Cesena, Modena, Parma, Florence, Massa Carrara, Pisa and Prato".
