Porto Cervo reveals the latest protagonists of the 6th edition of the Costa Smeralda Award. Tonight at the Conference Center Wanda Marasco and Riccardo Falcinelli were announced winners in the Fiction and Non-Fiction sections, joining the already announced Björn Larsson, Adrian Paci and Giorgio Spanu.

The first beat the competition of Claudia Lanteri and Fiammetta Palpati with the work “Di spalle a questo mondo”, while the second prevailed over Giuseppe Antonelli and Tommaso Spazzini Villa with “Visus”. During the award ceremony conducted by the journalist Roberta Floris, and inaugurated by the memory of Pope Francis on the day of the funeral and of Karim Aga Khan, father of the Costa Smeralda, who passed away in February, Larsson, a Swedish writer and navigation expert, collected the International Award, the Albanian artist Paci, connected via video from Canada, “virtually” the Mediterranean Culture Award 2025 and the islander Spanu the Special Award.

Present at the final evening of the Costa Smeralda Award, of which Smeralda Holding is a partner and main sponsor, were Renzo Persico, president of the Costa Smeralda Consortium, and the artistic director of the award Stefano Salis, who awarded the winners and presides over the expert jury formed by Lina Bolzoni, Marcello Fois, Elena Loewenthal and Chiara Valerio, lined up in the front row after the ritual catwalk on the stage of the Conference Center.

The winners, in addition to the applause and the inscription of their name in the roll of honor of the Emerald Literary Prize, also and above all receive the precious recognition: the exclusive work in Sardinian stone by the sculptor Giuseppe Sanna, symbol of the connection between the Prize and the territory of Sardinia.
