Yesterday afternoon, in Jesi, the Final Eight of the Italian Futsal Cup began. Among the protagonists of this event are five Sardinians who, together with their teams, will compete for the title during a week (ending Sunday) full of spectacular matches.
The islanders involved are the Serie A players Riccardo Siddi with Ecocity Genzano, Michele Podda with Meta Catania, Marco Pasculli with L84 and Lorenzo Etzi with Feldi Eboli and in Serie A2 Elite Jacopo Ugas with Bulldog Capurso .
Yesterday the first two quarter-finals took place, with Siddi playing against Sandro Abate and Podda against Roma 1927. Both, at the end of two very hard-fought matches, earned a place in the first semifinal, which will be Ecocity Genzano-Meta Catania . This evening, at 7 pm, a quarter-final will take place under the Quattro Mori banner, where Feldi Eboli-L84 will face off: only one between Etzi and Pasculli will get the pass to the second semifinal.
In Serie A2 Elite, Jacopo Ugas and his Bulldog Capurso will play the semi-final against Olympia Rovereto tomorrow at 6 pm.
