Yesterday the last departures of Volotea from Cagliari, from today the connections with Rome and Milan will be guaranteed in continuity only by Ita Airways . 16 months after its debut , the Spanish company will continue to insure the routes, but outside the public service regime towards Turin and Verona, from the end of March the destinations will be more numerous as envisaged in the summer plan.

Today is also an important day for Alghero, a port of call for which the future of territorial continuity will be discovered. Only Ita Airways and AeroItalia have signed up for the negotiated procedure of the regional Transport Department. The submission of bids closes at 1pm.

It is said that the company born not even a year ago deposits its proposal. Because in the last few weeks the conditions have changed – the duration of the tender has increased from twenty to eight months – and in these days the managers are thinking about launching the service at the Olbia airport, where from the next few days the routes will be managed with Rome and Milan.

Eyes are therefore focused more on Ita, which currently guarantees connections in a territorial continuity regime at Alghero airport and could aim to extend the commitment.
