"Something has cracked irreversibly." This is what Giuseppe Conte said about Beppe Grillo, as revealed in Bruno Vespa's new book, entitled "Hitler and Mussolini. The fatal idyll that shocked the world (and Italy's central role in the new Europe)", to be published by Mondadori-Rai Libri on October 30.

"Humanly - says the president of the M5S about the founder of the Movement - I am very impressed by how he behaves. Seeing today that he contrasts in such a blatant way a process of democratic participation that brings us back to the original ideals of Casaleggio has saddened me greatly. Because, contrary to what the newspapers write, the clash is not personalistic (Grillo against Conte), but sees Grillo fighting against his own community".

Again in the conversation with Vespa, Conte himself announces the “sackage” of Grillo, who will no longer be the guarantor of the M5S, a role for which there was a 300 thousand euro contract that will not be renewed.

"Beppe Grillo - explained Conte - is responsible for a counter-communication that undermines the reasons for a contractual collaboration."

"Grillo - says the former prime minister - claimed the compensation as guarantor even in the last letters he wrote to me. I have never accepted that he was paid for this function, which has an intrinsic moral value and is not compatible with any remuneration".
