A new recognition for Gianfranco Zola. This morning, during the CONI National Committee meeting, the former champion and current vice president of Lega Pro was awarded the gold star.

Sports director Ivano Fanini was also awarded.

Just a few days ago , the former Cagliari champion received the "Ambassador of Italian Sport in the World" plaque in London . "His legacy, passion, and leadership continue to inspire Italian sport around the world," the citation for the honor read.
