"With our measures to reduce the tax wedge and the personal income tax reform, we're putting €21 billion a year back into workers' pockets. We don't intend to stop there; we want to do more, particularly to ease the tax burden on the middle class."

This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking today at the Confcommercio Assembly.

"Tax cuts are one of this government's major goals; others talk about taxing wealth, but we're working to ensure that Italians can build wealth after decades of hard work and sacrifice ," he said.

"This is not a banana republic. Here, the rules are respected. As President Sangalli reminded us, there is no market without rules, there are no healthy businesses, and there is no growth," he added.
