Concu re-elected in Selargius, Massimiliano Sanna celebrates in Oristano
The center-right asserts itself in the first round in the two municipalities with more than 15 thousand inhabitants called to vote on the island
Gigi Concu , a candidate of the center-right, is again mayor of Selargius .
It took only one round of voting to sanction the victory of the outgoing first citizen , without the need for a ballot.
About twenty points of detachment inflicted on the center-left challenger Franco Camba , while even more detached was the third candidate M anuela Chia .
"The citizens wanted to reward continuity ", the first comment of Concu, before the party.
The center-right also wins in the first round in Oristano , the other Sardinian municipality with a population of over 15,000 inhabitants.
Massimiliano Sanna was the most voted of the four candidates, trailing - also in this case by about twenty points - the other Sanna, Efisio , candidate of the center-left. "I thank the coalition parties for believing in me , it was a way to approach the electoral campaign in a more convinced way", said Massimiliano Sanna, when the ballots in his favor reached 58% .
In light of the administrative results in Sardinia , the first political reactions were not lacking: “Sardinia needs skills, goodwill, ideas and projects”, commented Aldo Salaris, regional coordinator of the Reformers . "What the Reformers record today in the Municipalities, both where they presented themselves with their own symbol, Oristano and Selargius, as in the other centers, where we confirmed our mayors and many municipal councilors were elected, is a great result that gives hope in a better future. The success of numbers is the success of people, candidates who, driven by passion, have put their skills and time at the service of the community to which they belong. We wish all the elected representatives of the Reformers a good job ”.
