In the icy phrasebook of judicial documents it has become "Pisciottu Maurizio, aka Salmo", investigated by the chief prosecutor of Tempio, Gregorio Capasso, "as artist-singer" for the concert on 13 August in the Brin pier, in Olbia. The Gallura prosecutor considers the performance at the center of very hard controversy, a “public show and an outdoor entertainment with 3500 people, without the authorization of the public safety authority”. So, just over a month after the concert-rally under the Ferris wheel in Olbia, Salmo goes from a person informed on the facts to an investigator.

Convened by the prosecutor

This is stated in the guarantee notice with call for questioning, signed by Capasso and addressed to the Sardinian rapper, but also to the entrepreneur Kevin Lupetti, owner of the Olbia Ferris wheel. Lupetti responds to the same objections made to Salmo. The indictment indicates an audience of 3500 people, a figure detected by the staff of the Olbia Commissariat (present during the rapper's performance) and reported in the reports sent to the prosecutor by the State Police and the Olbia Port Authority.

The provocation

The accusations made against Salmo and Lupetti recall the provisions of the Royal Decree number 773 of 1931, ie the Consolidated Law on public safety. It sounds strange (the provisions date back to the Fascist period) but it is so, the objection is that of having "promoted, organized and implemented" the concert, without the authorization of the Commissariat and without notifying the Commissioner (at least three days before the show). Psalm, in reality, immediately after the concert, should have been heard as a person informed on the facts, but now he is being challenged with a criminal nature and in this new capacity he has been summoned to Tempio. It must be said that the investigations also concern the presence of several thousand people gathered, in full pandemic emergency. Salmo has already provided his version of the facts (with a video posted on Instagram) claiming his performance as a public denunciation of the dramatic condition of show business workers, now exhausted due to the bans imposed by the anti Covid measures. The rapper continued to protest harshly, in recent days he posted some images of the electoral meetings for the administrative elections in October, photos that document gatherings of hundreds of people.

The defenses

The rapper and Lupetti could be heard next week. The defenses, the lawyers Rino Seu and Antonello Desini, have not made any statements. Salmo may not have yet read the acts where he is called into question as "Pisciottu Maurizio, singer artist". Knowing him, he makes the attack of a piece.
