Change at the top of Coldiretti Cagliari. Giuseppe Casu, a 48-year-old agronomist, originally from Alghero, is the new director of the provincial association. He succeeds Luca Saba, who maintains the role of regional director of Coldiretti Sardinia, ensuring a transition marked by continuity.

Casu boasts a long career in Coldiretti starting from roles with Caics, the association's agricultural business assistance center and with experience in Giovani Coldiretti as regional secretary, to soon become a protagonist both in Sardinia at the helm of the Oristano federation for two years and previously also deputy in that of Sassari and as regional manager, and in other Italian regions, in Lazio, where he was director in Rome-Rieti. In his working career he has held roles in numerous sectors of the island's agri-food system such as in the wine sector but also in public administration.

Known for his expertise and determination, he presents himself as a young manager but with solid and multidisciplinary experience, ready to take on the challenges of the territory. "I am proud to take up the baton from Luca Saba and to continue along the path traced in recent years - he underlines - Coldiretti Cagliari has worked with determination to represent and support the many agricultural and livestock companies that animate our territory. We will continue to be close to them, both at institutional tables and in daily battles, to guarantee profitability and enhance the work of farmers and breeders".
