Flavio Cobolli's dream in Paris ended in the fifth set. The Italian tennis player fell to world number 3, Germany's Zverev, 1-6, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6, 1-6. It was a tight and intense match (nearly four and a half hours of play), with Zverev dominating the first and last games.

A fine performance by Cobolli, who confirmed the extraordinary moment of Italian tennis at a tournament, Roland Garros, which had seen Sinner exit almost immediately due to a physical collapse.
