The first edition of the SardiniART Festival kicks off on Saturday 16 December , a review of cultural events open to all citizens, organized by the Sound Music Art Association in Quartu Sant'Elena thanks to the support of the Civic Administration led by Graziano Milia.

Tomorrow the inauguration at 7.30 pm in the Ex Convento dei Cappuccini with the concert by Simone Onnis, an established Quartese guitarist, considered among the Sardinian excellences of the national and international concert panorama: he was the first island specialist of the six strings to have performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.

The virtuoso from the Segovian school of Alirio Diaz, of which he was a student and assistant, will perform in the recital "Legno che canta" proposing some of the most famous pieces of the classical guitar repertoire of all time.

On Sunday 17th at 12 at the Cesare Fois e Figli farm, in via Garibaldi 39 also in Quartu Sant'Elena, a tasting of local wines will be held followed by a concert by Lonely Boy , aka Andrea Deiana Porcu, who with his voice, guitar and its harmonics offers a varied and stimulating show in Sardinian, Italian and English, interpreting the most diverse musical genres and styles.

On the same day, starting from 6.30 pm, we return to the Ex Convent of the Capuchins for an exceptional concert: special guest of the event is an important name for fans, Juan Lorenzo, considered the most authoritative flamenco guitarist in Italy, a genre musical that boasts a very large following.

Trained in Sevilla, in the heart of Andalusia, he immediately performed in the city's tablaos and fiestas: in 30 years of activity he held more than 2000 concerts all over the world, collaborating with some of the most important figures of Andalusian popular music and international pop.
