Children and domestic accidents, here is the prevention plan of the ASL of Sassari
A series of events dedicated to families with children aged 0 to 14. First meeting in Ittiri
A project for the prevention of domestic accidents in pediatric age in favor of the municipalities of the North West territory. The initiative is by the Sassari Local Health Authority which involved the municipal administrations by training and informing families with children aged 0 to 14 on the potential dangers present in homes , so as to avoid them and manage them as best as possible.
The first appointment is scheduled for Tuesday 14th November, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, in Ittiri, in the premises of the municipal theatre, followed by Porto Torres on 14th December, Sassari on 18th January, Ozieri on 18th March, Sorso on April 18th, Thiesi on May 16th, Bono on June 13th, Castelsardo on November 14th, followed by Alghero, Ploaghe, Sorso and Perfugas.
Poisoning, trauma and crushing, electrocution, burns, ingestion of a foreign body, suffocation, animal bite : these will be the main topics that will be covered in the courses held by the staff of the ASL of Sassari and which, at the moment, will concern the municipalities where the clinics are located family members. The project is part of the regional and national Health Prevention and Promotion programme, and involves the Maternal, Child and Family Department of the ASL of Sassari and the Family Counselors of the ASL n. 1. The latter will be the ones to talk to families about the hidden risks that creep into a home and into everyday life.
