"It is not a random choice but the result of political reasoning". With these words, the national secretary of Forza Italia and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, announces the entry into the ranks of the blue party of Gianni Chessa, Piero Maieli and Alfonso Marras: the three regional councilors have abandoned the Partito Sardo d'azione with which they were elected, at odds with the secretary Christian Solinas.
With their farewell , the representation of the Sardinians in the regional assembly of the Island is effectively eliminated, which until now had relied on an organic agreement with the League.
"They have decided to join the great house," Tajani continued at a press conference in Rome, "reassuring for the citizens, of the moderates who, as I always say, will occupy the political space between Giorgia Meloni and Elly Schlein."
Tajani also announced that on Saturday there will be a demonstration in Sardinia with the new entries as well.
Gianni Chessa said: «Perhaps we haven't realized it, but in Forza Italia we have always been there in some way: this is the home of the moderates».
