Princess consort Charlene returned to Monaco ten days ago after a long period in a clinic in Switzerland, but rumors of a possible divorce from Albert have not subsided.

"In agreement with her doctors and as her recovery is on track, doctors and the royal family have agreed together that Princess Charlene can now continue her convalescence in the Principality, with her husband and children," it said in an official statement.

According to rumors, the 44-year-old former swimmer is one step away from being estranged from her husband. He would have talked about it openly, placing only one condition for the continuation of their marriage: to go away from Palazzo Grimaldi, a place that she defined as "full of bad memories".

The residence chosen by the princess stands on the heights of Roc Agel, the summer residence where she is already relaxing for her convalescence.

According to the magazine "Voici" for Alberto it is "impossible and unthinkable to think about divorce", and "he is ready to do anything to avoid this and she knows it very well".

The princess was stranded in South Africa for months with a respiratory infection. Now it seems impossible for her to go back to living surrounded "by the negativities of the Palace" and close to her sister-in-law Carolina, with whom relations would be very bad.

The marriage with Alberto dates back to 2011, the twins Jacques and Gabriella were born seven years ago.
