Inter Milan lost in the first leg of their Champions League playoff against Bodo Glimt. The home side won 3-1 at the Aspmyra Stadion, after taking the lead after 20 minutes through Fet.

Chivu's men managed to snatch the equaliser after 10 minutes with Esposito, but in the second half the Norwegians ran riot first with Hauge in the 61st minute and then with Høgh in the 64th minute.

On the return leg at San Siro, the Nerazzurri are forced to come back to advance to the next round.
