The hypothesis of a face-to-face meeting between the two had been raised. Now there's the appointment: the official broad field candidate for the presidency of the Region, Alessandra Todde, and her center-left rival, Renato Soru, meet today at 12.

The entourages of the two confirm this and Todde herself said it last night in an interview with Giovanni Floris on La7 in a statement that was not broadcast: «I heard from Soru, we will meet in the next few days».

The candidate of Pd-M5s-Avs and other acronyms, as we learn from the staff, sent a voice message to the former governor asking him to meet alone and he accepted with great availability. On Tuesday, Todde reiterated that his candidacy is not the result of a Roman agreement: «There have been months of meetings, in Sardinia and with forces that are only regional, ten programmatic tables with over 120 people working to build a large base programmatic".

On the primaries, which Soru and his followers continue to invoke and which were also supported by Arturo Parisi, father of the pre-electoral consultations, Todde remains against: «The topic of the primaries was debated and it was decided not to choose them as a method, but the decision was entrusted to a ruling class that is finally doing politics."
