Alessandro Cattelan also tasted grasshoppers. He did so during his Rai broadcast together with the winner of Masterchef Italia Edoardo Franco.
A very funny scene. Cattelan grabs the grasshopper with black latex gloves and hesitates before putting it in his mouth, while a wave of suspense rises from the audience. Then the curtain with Edoardo: «Have you ever eaten insects?», «No, can I?», «Sure, here we have larvae, grasshoppers, the best of the best».
Then a good bite of grasshopper. Cattelan chewed the insect very slowly with some disapproving expressions: «It seems when you leave the biscuits open and then they become a bit...». On the other hand, the 26-year-old from Varese who won Masterchef has a different opinion: «A bit doughy, but it's not bad come on...», said Edoardo Franco.
