The price increases do not stop in Cagliari.

According to the study by the Municipality relating to the consumer price indices for February 2023, the prices of goods and services continue to rise: +0.5% compared to January of this year and +9.7% compared to the same month of 'Last year.

In particular, in the last year the inhabitants of the capital have had to face significant increases in prices for everyday products : +13.4% compared to February 2022 (+1.7% compared to January 2023) for food and beverages (with significant variations for oil, +6.3%, vegetables, +6.2%, fruit +2.9% and milk, cheese and eggs +1.6%), +3.3% for spirits and tobacco (+1, 9 on the previous month), +7.4% for hotels and restaurants and for transport and +1.9% for clothing and footwear. But the most important increases concern energy and housing costs (housing, water, electricity and fuel), which register a +26.2% compared to February 2022, albeit slightly down considering the January figure (-1.9 %), the result of the slight decrease in the price of gas and electricity .
