The evocative musical journey by The Jazz Club Network continues with an exceptional protagonist, the trumpeter Carlos Sarduy accompanied by Yarel Hernández on bass and Lukmil Perez on drums.
This evening, Friday 1 November, at the Inout Music Club on Viale Marconi in Cagliari starting at 9.30 pm and tomorrow at the Vecchio Mulino in Sassari at 8.30 pm, a new stop on the programme created by CeDAC , the Multidisciplinary Circuit of Live Entertainment in Sardinia chaired by Antonio Cabiddu, in collaboration with the Il Jazzino Cultural Association.
Carlos Sarduy is a Cuban trumpeter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, recognized and sought after not only on the international jazz scene, but also in flamenco and popular and modern music of the famous Central American island.
Praised for his sound quality, great musicality and incredible versatility, Carlos Sarduy is also a pianist, percussionist and record producer.
With such a wealth of experience, it is no wonder that he has impressed great artists such as Chucho Valdés, Steve Coleman, David Murray, Esperanza Spalding, or that he has received a Grammy Award for the Irakere 40 tour and two Latin Grammy Awards.
In his concerts, the Cuban virtuoso offers a powerful musical journey through a melodic and sensitive phrasing, characteristic of a personal language that reflects his great knowledge of Afro-Cuban music and his mastery in the truly innovative development of jazz.
Lots of music, then, with the seventh edition of the Jazz Club Network which, thanks to the three different stages scattered around the Island, will host a series of bands and artists arriving from all over the world until 7 December 2024 , thanks to a range of proposals studied to satisfy the many musical tastes of the spectators: from black music to fusion, from the best of international vocalism to Afro, Latin and flamenco rhythms.
Quality concerts and musical events, to be enjoyed even in the less touristy periods of the year, as happens in this autumn long weekend, to liven up the evenings of lovers of live music from the north to the south of the island, reliving the soft atmospheres of jazz clubs from all over the world.
