Capoterra, series of shows for the "Children's Theatre"

The Piccolo Teatro dei Ciliegi presents "Il Teatro dei Bambini", the series of shows dedicated to younger people, scheduled from tomorrow to 19 May. The program of events, organized in collaboration with the theater companies Akroama, La Botte e il Cilindro, Fueddu Gestu, Anfiteatro Sud and Teatro La Maschera, promises to enchant and entertain both children and adults.
The shows will be preceded by "Fairies of Sardinia", a fascinating journey into the world of local legends that will prepare the audience for the theatrical experience. Eight unmissable events will offer a variety of engaging stories and unforgettable characters, with a program that ranges from Sardinian traditions to the exotic atmospheres of Brazil.
Tomorrow, the opening of the "Fairy Tales of Sardinia" will be dedicated to "The Little Vitellina with the Golden Horns" presented by Francesco Civile and Nicola Agus of the Anfiteatro Sud company, followed by "Little White Riding Hood with Boots" performed by Andrea Gandini, Ivano Cugia and Sofia Qualiano of the Akroama company.
On Saturday 11 May, Daniele Pettinau and Nicola Agus will bring to the stage "The Fairy Tale of Saint John and the Bastone of Ferula", followed by "Ci-chi-Boom, Notes from My Journey to Brazil" with Margherita Lavosi and Consuelo Pittalis of the company La Barrel and the Cylinder.
The following Sunday, May 12th, Marta Proietti Orzella and Nicola Agus will amaze with "Mariedda e il Piccolo Popolo delle Janas", followed by "Nais" performed by Maura Grussu, Nanni Melis, music Manuela Orrù, directed by Giampietro Orrù of the Fueddu Gestu company Theater.
The grand finale, on May 19th, will see Marta Proietti Orzella and Nicola Agus present "The Old Man and the Rupe" for the "Fairy Tales of Sardinia", followed by "Diavoli e Pentole e Altri Imbrogli" by Daniele Pettinau of the Teatro La Maschera company.
The project is carried out with the artistic direction of Susanna Mameli, and with the support of the Region, Department of Culture, Entertainment and Sport. With the free patronage of the Municipality of Capoterra and the Poggio dei Pini Cooperative.
With the "Fairy Tales of Sardinia" tickets, the training of young people undertaken by Don Giovanni Sanna of the Madonna di Lourdes church in Poggio dei Pini will be supported.
