Sardinia awarded in the new 2022 edition of Cantine d'Italia, the Guide for the Enotourist by Go Wine, which aims to promote the great Italian welcome in the cellar.

Out of 820 wineries selected, 245 were the "Footprints of excellence" for wine tourism, over 4,400 wines, about 1,500 useful addresses for eating and sleeping.

In the articulated repertoire of cellars, rich in data and references that is updated in each edition, with new entries and some exclusions, the Contini winery in Cabras obtains the recognition of L'Impronta for the first time. This is a sign of "excellence" in the field of national wine tourism dedicated to wineries that have achieved a high score in the overall evaluation of the site, reception and production profile.

The wineries awarded in total are Argiolas - Serdiana (CA), Columbu - Bosa (OR), Contini Attilio - Cabras (OR), Mesa - Sant'Anna Arresi (CI), Murales - Olbia (SS), Sedilesu - Mamoiada (NU) ), Sella & Mosca - Alghero (SS), Su 'Entu - Sanluri (SU).

The “Buono… I didn't know him!” Award, one of the Guide's 8 Special Awards, goes to the Sedilesu winery in Mamoiada for Barbagia Igt Granazza. The award is dedicated to indigenous wines with particular attention to those rare or less known by consumers.

"It goes to the heart of Sardinia - reads a note - to a fascinating and special place like Mamoiada. Where, alongside Cannonau, Sedilesu has carried out an interesting work for the recovery and enhancement of Granazza, a purebred white variety. Small productions, in a fascinating landscape where the ancient culture of making wine accompanies people's lives ".
