A winning team does not change and so the assembly of members of the Cantina Santa Maria La Palma in Alghero elected the new board , largely confirming the outgoing one. It includes Mario Peretto, Francesco Pinna, Gianfranca Pirisi, Daniele Zappelloni, Salvatore Serra, Francesca Spanu and Gabriele Bardino . Double reconfirmation especially for Mario Peretto and Gianfranca Pirisi, newly elected president and vice president.

For Peretto this is the fourth consecutive mandate: a testimony of concrete trust on the part of the entire social base of the Cantina Santa Maria La Palma, a cooperative company that gathers over 300 members, concretely representing the production area of the agricultural sector of north-west Sardinia.

"Receiving this new mandate represents a great honor and an important burden, also in light of the delicate geopolitical and macroeconomic situation" , underlined the president Peretto, thanking the shareholders. "The last few years have seen the Cantina Santa Maria La Palma grow considerably: we have exceeded 5.5 million bottles produced and our turnover has touched 20 million euros, a historic figure, never reached before. At the same time we record an ever-increasing appreciation for our brand and our wines, combined with a series of new prestigious national and international awards: a further certification of the quality of our products and of the great wine-growing vocation of the Alghero area, which we are happy to represent ".

The new mandate will see the company focus on sustainability, innovation, staff growth and the search for new markets.
