From Alec Baldwin to Rocío Muñoz Morales, from Anouchka Delon to Cuba Gooding Jr., passing through Simon Baker: these are the stars that will make the eighth edition of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival shine, scheduled from 19 to 22 June in Cagliari and at the Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula.

A broad program of meetings, masterclasses and screenings (a special section of films will be screened for students until June 28 at the Notorious Cinemas in Piazza L'Unione Sarda) which, not by chance, was presented yesterday morning during one of the most important international film festivals: the Cannes Film Festival.

From Cannes, Tiziana Rocca, general director of the event , declared: «It is with great emotion and pride that I present to you a preview of some of the protagonists of the next edition of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival, now in its eighth edition. An important milestone, which confirms our commitment to promoting Italian and international cinema, supporting young talents and creating an increasingly lively dialogue between culture, industry and the public».

Among the expected guests at the Festival : Simon Baker, an actor with innate charm and unmistakable talent, protagonist of the television series “The Mentalist” and “The Guardian” and of cult films such as “The Devil Wears Prada”, who will receive the Filming Italy Excellence Award.
