The joy of mother Debora and father Alberto LampisCelebration at the Duilio Casula Polyclinic for the second triplet birth of 2025. Mother Debora Sailis, 37, gave birth to three beautiful triplets: Camilla (1,210 kg), Bianca (1,350 kg) and Carlotta (1,390 kg).
The little girls, immediately surrounded by the affection of their father Alberto Lampis, their 15-year-old sister, and their 10-year-old brother, were born by cesarean section thanks to the work and dedication of a multidisciplinary team.
Present in the delivery room during the birth were Dr. Stefania Sanna, Dr. Michele Peiretti, resident physician Antonino Viscosi, midwife Silvana Pinna, nursing assistants Romina Atza and Martina Cadoni from the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, headed by Professor Stefano Angioni, and anesthesiologist Concetta Cocozza from the Obstetric-Gynecological Analgesia department, headed by Dr. Mauro Cardu. Pediatricians Anna Manconi, Consuelo Colucci, Wlodarczyk Malgorzata, Anna Bertini, Francesca Faa, Michele Carboni, and Luca Bianchini, nurses Elisabetta Scano, Teresa Pusceddu, and Irene Muntoni, and nursing assistant Valentina Palla, all from the Neonatal Pathology and Nursery department, headed by Dr. Giovanni Ottonello, immediately assisted the little ones.
The newborns are doing well and are now in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Duilio Casula Hospital, directed by Professor Vassilios Fanos, where they will receive all the necessary care before returning home.
