The Marialisa de Carolis Foundation has announced an introductory selection for opera singers interested in collaborating with the Foundation's Choir , as part of the programming of the lyric-symphonic seasons for the three-year period 2026–2028 .

The initiative aims to create a database of suitable artists to support the organization's future artistic activities. The selection process does not require registration or the creation of binding rankings for future employment. Auditions are open to the following vocal ranges : tenors, baritones, basses, sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, and contraltos .

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age , hold Italian or European Union citizenship , or have a valid residence permit . Applicants must also be physically fit for artistic activity , have no incompatibility with any future collaborations, and have relevant training and experience. The Organization reserves the right to evaluate the artistic profile of candidates at its sole discretion.

The application to participate must be submitted exclusively online no later than 12 noon on   February 12, 2026, using the form available at the certified email address: enteconcertidecarolis@pec.net . The application must include an updated artistic CV and a copy of a valid identity document . Applications received after the deadline or via other methods will not be considered.

Auditions will be held in Sassari , at the Teatro Comunale or another location to be announced by the Organization. Dates, times, and invitations will be sent via email to admitted candidates. The Organization reserves the right to make any changes to the schedule for organizational reasons.

The selection process will consist of an aptitude test , aimed at evaluating vocal quality and technique, with the possibility of performing a piece of the candidate's choice (no obligation). Candidates must bring two copies of complete scores and proof of identity. Piano accompaniment will be provided by the organization.
