Cal'a Cinema celebrates its ten edition this year. The cinema hall is, as usual, the suggestive Cala Genovesi in Arbatax . From 4 to 6 August, famous films of international fame, with the background of the sea, sitting on the surface of the water.

The independent film festival organized by the Musika Surda association, sponsored by the Municipality, which has always been aimed at both the local public and tourists, has constantly offered the opportunity to view titles that are not always present in the island's commercial circuit and has always kept the focus on cinematography. Sardinian. The artistic direction is entrusted to Marcello Murru .

It starts on Thursday 4 August with Il muto di Gallura by Matteo Fresi, on Friday 5 it is the turn of Il buco by Michelangelo Frammartino. The review closes on Saturday 6 with Californie by Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman .

“The films of this edition have been able to capture the most significant moments of our today, returning them to all of us and thus making us participants in a difficult moment but also in three wonderful examples of creativity. It is with a sort of journey back in time that Cal'a Cinema continues its exhortation to take the seat of the house (this time also the mask) and find a place in Cala Genovesi ", say the organizers.

The screenings start every evening at 9 pm, admission is free.
