A venue that has become a benchmark for the alternative scene in the capital, Fabrik continues its mission in 2026: for its third date since the beginning of the year, Cagliari's Fabrik is pulling another trick from its January lineup, offering an evening of pure, hard metal with the bands Warpit and Midas' Progeny . The event is scheduled for 9 pm on Saturday, January 17 , at Via Mameli 216.

Formed just three years ago, Warpit is comprised of experienced musicians: Andrea Orrù (vocals), Pierluigi Piras (guitar), Manolo Frau (bass), and Giacomo Macis (drums). Drawing inspiration from Piras's ideas, their sound moves in the realms of heavy metal and groove, yet with an eye toward traditional Sardinian music and the imagery of an archaic island, in a style the band themselves define as " nuragic metal ."

Alongside the theme of roots, however, there is also that of personal experiences, both translated into explosive music and profound lyrics: an example of this is the eponymous extended play released in 2023 by the Roman label The Triad Records .

Even more recently formed are Midas' Progeny , a band moving toward power metal , with the classic rhythmic speed and sonic grandeur, including powerful guitar riffs and epic choruses. Their debut took place last December at the Metal Xmas event organized by Cueva Rock in Quartucciu.
