Cagliari-Venezia at half-time is 2-0: two headers, by Mina and Piccoli, give the rossoblù (on the pitch today with the new third shirt for next season) a double advantage at half-time.

First chance for Cagliari: in the 3rd minute, a corner with Piccoli's pass blocked, Luperto's backheel attempt was blocked and Deiola kicked badly high. But in the 11th minute, the lead came, with Augello's free kick on the far right post for Mina who headed it across and left Radu immobile . For the Colombian, returning after almost a month out due to injury, it was the first (much celebrated) goal of the season.

Venezia reacts in the 16th minute, with a corner kicked just inside the area and a velo to favor Busio who in tow with his right kicks just over. Then Cagliari again, in the 24th minute a through ball from Makoumbou to Luvumbo and a cross with Piccoli anticipated by the intervention of Candé. Venezia is forced to make the first substitution in the 32nd minute, the former Oristanio player out due to injury (he leaves in tears amidst the applause of the 16,176 at the Domus) and Gytkjær comes in .

Venezia is very dangerous in the 37th minute: a cross from the left by Candé, Busio heads it just wide. Four minutes pass and, on a great cross, Piccoli heads it in with a sure shot and forces Radu to work a miracle. From Zortea's corner, the ball goes to the far post, Piccoli heads it again and this time it's 2-0 . Which, however, is validated two minutes later (in the 43rd minute, the goal comes in the 41st minute) because the assistant initially signals that Zortea's corner had gone out: the ball, in reality, had remained in play.

We go to half time after four minutes of added time, in the third minute a shot by Zerbin is blocked on the ground by Caprile.
