Cagliari, training camp begins in Valle D'Aosta with 31 players

Here are all the men under the orders of Mister Davide NicolaThere are thirty-one Cagliari players, under the orders of coach Davide Nicola, who will be in Valle D'Aosta from today for the second phase of preparation after having concluded the first part of the training camp in Assemini on Friday afternoon.
Also with the team is Lapadula, fresh from the America's Cup. Plus Marin and Obert, with Romania and Slovakia at the last European Championships. Only Mina is missing, still on holiday since her Colombia played the Copa America final with Argentina just a week ago.
Nicola has called up four goalkeepers : Scuffet, Radunovic, Ciocci and Iliev. The Albanian Sherri is also arriving (medical visits are scheduled for today), with Radunovic leaving for Bari or Pisa. Eleven defenders : Luperto, Obert, Catena, Veroli, Hatziadiakos, Wieteska, plus the wingers Zappa (but he is also playing in the middle), Di Pardo, Augello, Zortea and Azzi. There are nine midfielders : Adopo, Makoumbou, Deiola, Kourfalidis, Prati, Viola, Jankto, Marin and the attacking winger Felici. Seven players in attack : Piccoli, Lapadula, Pavoletti, Luvumbo, Delpupo, Kingstone and Pereiro.
The new signings are Luperto (Empoli), Felici (Feralpisaló), Adopo, Zortea and Piccoli (Atalanta). Veroli (Catanzaro), Marin (Empoli), Kourfalidis (Feralpisaló), Delpupo (Pontedera) and Pereiro (Ternana) have returned from loans.
Compared to the last season there are no longer Aresti, Mancosu, Dossena, Nandez, Sulemana, Petagna, Shomurodov, Oristanio and Gaetano.
The headquarters of the rossoblù is the Grand Hotel Billia, while all training sessions will be hosted at the "E. Brunod" stadium in Châtillon.
Two friendly matches have been scheduled in Valle d'Aosta, between Châtillon and Saint-Vincent: the first on July 25th against Como, newly promoted to Serie A, is scheduled for 5pm. Nicola's boys will face Catanzaro on the 30th (7pm) . On Friday 2nd August, in the afternoon, the team will move to Modena: on Saturday 3rd at the "Braglia" stadium at 5pm the friendly match with the hosts is scheduled, the last commitment before returning to Sardinia and preparing for the Coppa Italia match, the August 12th.
