Palermo may not be Cagliari's opponents in the first round of the Italian Cup , valid for the 32nd finals. The exclusion of Reggina , ratified yesterday by the Federal Council, should in fact lead to a modification of the schedule for the event.

The Sicilians, in fact, would "climb" forward, with the rossoblùs who could contend with Modena or Pisa , classified behind the rosanero in the last Serie B championship.

The decision is expected in the day (there could also be the third option, with the scoreboard unchanged), while the eventual rival in the round of 32 would not change, who would remain the winner of the match between Udinese and one between Catanzaro and Vicenza.
