Tomorrow at 10, in the square in front of the church of San Michele, in Cagliari, home of the Military Department of Forensic Medicine of Cagliari, a ceremony is scheduled for the return of the statue of San Michele Arcangelo. The work has undergone a conservative restoration intervention by the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and the provinces of Oristano and South Sardinia.
The ceremony, in the historic setting of the square in front of the “Amerigo De Murtas” barracks, will see the participation of the commander of the Military Department of Forensic Medicine, Colonel Nicola Ramundo, the metropolitan archbishop of Cagliari Giuseppe Baturi and the Superintendent of Archaeology and Fine Arts Monica Stochino.
