Soldiers from the "Gennargentu" Transmission Battalion participated in the 6th edition of Run4Hope , the Giro d'Italia solidarity race featuring twenty synchronous regional relay teams. The initiative, which began today, April 18, aims to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation.

In particular, in Cagliari , soldiers from the "Gennargentu" Transmission Battalion ran the relay, starting from Lungomare Poetto and ending at Molo Ichnusa, covering approximately 10 kilometers . This year, the Italian Army, always at the forefront of social initiatives, confirmed its sponsorship and active participation in the event. Each leg of the relay represents not only a sporting challenge, but also an important opportunity to raise awareness among local communities about the importance of scientific research.

The participation of the men and women of the Army demonstrates, once again, the profound sensitivity to social issues and support for those most in need, principles and values that guide the military's daily work in serving the community.
