Offers must be submitted by 2 December 2024 on the dedicated online platformThe port of Cagliari takes an important step towards the development of the recreational boatbuilding hub with the publication of the tender for the assignment of the state concession of the lots in the eastern outer port of Porto Canale. After the preliminary consultation that saw the interest of 17 operators for 13 available lots, the configuration of the district was optimized by reducing the lots to 11, to better respond to the needs expressed. Offers must be submitted by 2 December 2024 on the dedicated online platform.
The tender provides for the assignment according to the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer, with particular attention to the organization of the shipyard, the environmental impact, the architectural value and the economic impact. The activities admitted include shipyards for the production and maintenance of boats, the sale of components and services connected to the nautical sector.
"The call published today brings us ever closer to the operational launch of the largest recreational boating district in Southern Sardinia - explains Massimo Deiana, President of the AdSP of the Sea of Sardinia - A public tender procedure that is based on a fundamental fact: the enormous interest of operators in the sector to settle in the complex completed in July 2023. A demand that has exceeded the availability of existing spaces and that today we are putting in healthy competition so that only those entities that will guarantee the best investment proposal both in terms of production and economic benefits for the territory and for the coffers of the Authority themselves can obtain the concession title".
