Four evenings with great dance: the Nice Opera Ballet arrives for the first time in Cagliari . From 13 to 16 July , with the artistic direction of Éric Vu-An and the orchestra of the Teatro Lirico led by Tommaso Ussardi , the dancers will be engaged in the performance of "Entrez dans la danse".

Solos, twos, threes, to charm the audience with suggestive choreographies. On the podium the Venetian conductor, a young composer and conductor who returns to Cagliari after the success of last summer with Antonio Gades' "Fuego".

With the gala of the Ballet Nice Méditerranée the summer activity of the Lirico continues, a program of opera, concerts and dance in the theater of the Sardinian capital and in the other usual entertainment venues spread in various centers of Sardinia.

The artistic director and choreographer, Éric Vu-An, after having worked with the greatest artists and in the most important theaters, Opéra di Paris in the first place, gives a new enamel to the company founded in 1947, renowned for the quality of its dancers who excel in the interpretation of the great repertoire. On the program a series of fascinating choreographies: Sylvia, suite, music by Léo Delibes; Raymonda, adage du grand pas classique, music by Aleksandr Glazunov; La Belle au bois dormant, adage à la rose, music by Tchaikovsky; Coppélia, music by Léo Delibes; Eden, music by Gluck; Don Quichotte, extrait du mariage (III act), music by Ludwig Minkus; Le Ballet de Faust, music by Charles Gounod.

The choreography by Julien Guérin, Démons et Merveilles, trio final, music by Ernest Bloch and Luciano Cannito, Viva Verdi, pas de deux de la perruque, music by Verdi will then be proposed.
