A message that should have remained confidential risks exploding Campo Largo, which supports Massimo Zedda's candidacy for mayor in Cagliari. "At this point either Action leaves or the M5S will, with other parties and lists": this is the harsh position that transpires from circles close to the leaders of the coalition on the brink of an earthquake.

The first tensions were registered when the Progressivists and Carlo Calenda's party, two days ago, announced the agreement to support Zedda. A communication that had irritated the 5 Star Movement which, after the convergence on the former mayor ready to reconquer Palazzo Bacaredda, had set some limits through its most authoritative exponents: alliances are only made with those who supported Alessandra Todde in the Regional elections. So Renato Soru and those who supported him are out. Like Calenda, exactly.

Everyone was waiting for the meeting scheduled for Monday, to mend the friction. When cell phones started ringing with notifications this morning. There was the forwarding of a message sent by the provincial secretary of Action, Sebastiano Tola: the recipients were around fifty party members who are part of a WhatsApp group. But some of them circulated Tola's words. Which have become, against his will, in the public domain. The tenor? Calendiano himself reiterates this, contacted by phone: the Action-Progressives agreement serves to broaden the coalition as much as possible but also to "resize the 5 Star Movement" and make the Five Star Movement understand "that they are not indispensable". And to underline this, the representatives of the two parties would show up together at the demonstration on April 25th.

Tola is angry: «That message (sent to 50 recipients, in fact, editor's note ) should have remained confidential. Someone, in violation of privacy, decided to disclose it. I will file a report with the postal police", he announces, and then adds: "And even a journalist who reports the content must be careful". For this reason, on the phone he was asked to clarify what Action's position is. And he reiterates it: «The M5s must be downsized. We only want to support Massimo Zedda as mayor and we have not set any conditions."

Tola tries to belittle it, but the WhatsApp text circulates and becomes one of those with the words "forwarded many times". Up to the smartphones of the representatives of the rest of the Campo Largo and up, to the top of the parties. The Action line becomes public knowledge. And if no one speaks officially, the message from the allies to Zedda and Pd is clear: "Either with us or with Action".
