A beautiful August Sunday ruined by uncivilized people. The pollution nightmare returns to Poetto, where a month ago a 48-hour swimming ban was imposed, once again due to sewage reaching the shore, along with various waste (including sanitary towels), almost certainly dumped into the sea by the many boats anchored in front of the one-hundred-thousand-strong beach.

It happened between late morning and afternoon at the fourth and fifth stops, but even at the first the spectacle was almost identical: at a certain point, some foamy material and other debris from the open sea appeared on the surface of the water.

All aided by a light sirocco breeze, which pushed everything toward the shore. Many filmed the scene and took photographs, which then began circulating on WhatsApp or were posted on social media, accompanied by outraged comments.
