Daniela Zedda, photographer, has been gone since yesterday. His Nikon no longer clicks. An illness took her from her life at the age of 64. She left in a hospital bed, in Cagliari , where she received her last treatments. He leaves a son, Riccardo Spignesi, a young collaborator of the sports pages of L'Unione Sarda, and his partner Mauro Luccarini.

It is the whole world of culture that mourns his death. For decades there hasn't been a concert, literary festival or theater show that hasn't been narrated by her images by Daniela Zedda. And his shots have always described to the readers of L'Unione Sarda the main events and protagonists of the island's cultural life.

Cagliari and Sardinia lose a "Sardinian woman". And her gaze on reality, which was told by the lens of the camera that was part of her.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2.30 pm in the central portico of the San Michele cemetery.
