Ten companies are competing for the title of "Sardinian Startup of the Year."
The list includes companies active in the AI, fintech, manufacturing, creator economy, workplace safety, and indoor farming sectors. They will be evaluated by a jury of investors, founders, managers, and experts. The winner will be revealed on June 18th during the "SIOS26 Summer" event, hosted at Sa Manifattura.
"The ten finalists represent a dynamic and increasingly diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem. From artificial intelligence applied to the security of agent systems and HR processes, to fintech, manufacturing, the creator economy, workplace safety, and indoor farming, the competing startups bring to the stage solutions designed to address concrete challenges and generate impact on the local area and markets," the organizers explain.
The ten companies competing for the award are:
- Bloom LABS, which develops indoor farms for the sustainable production of zero-mile flowers;
- HikmaAI, specializing in the security, governance, and traceability of AI agents;
- Klaaryo, which automates recruiting and HR processes through conversational agents;
- Monetunes, a platform dedicated to music rights management and royalty recovery;
- Rame, a fintech solution that offers personalized financial education and coaching;
- Startex AI, which uses artificial intelligence to identify acquisition and investment opportunities in the M&A market;
- Tuurbo, focused on optimizing online visibility in search engines and generative AI environments;
- Vertalis, which integrates industrial data from heterogeneous systems to support business decisions;
- Xference, which enables enterprises to use generative AI models in private and secure environments;
- Semory, a platform that simplifies document management and workplace safety compliance for SMEs.
On June 18th, during a pitch competition, each team will have a few minutes to present their business model, the problem they intend to solve, and the project's growth prospects to an audience of investors, managers, and industry professionals.
The Sardinian Startup of the Year will be chosen by a jury composed of investors, founders, managers, researchers, and innovation experts.
The jury will then select the regional organization with the greatest growth potential and the one capable of "promoting ideas, technologies, and skills that contribute to the development of Sardinia's innovation ecosystem and its ability to compete nationally and internationally."
