THE REPORT – FIRST HALF
3' – Esposito takes a free kick from the right: Borrelli's header just misses.
6' – CHANCE FOR CAGLIARI! Adopo has a chance to shoot from a good position, but the ball is deflected out for a corner.
8' – CAGLIARI AGAIN! Borrelli races into the box, but N'Dicka manages to stop him before he can shoot with a brilliant recovery.
11' – Roma closes in on Caprile: Baldanzi tries his luck, but Luperto blocks his shot.
14' – Roma again: Soulè plays well for Celik who enters the area from the right, but Rodriguez's block is providential.
22' – Nice move by Folorunsho, who is stopped by Mancini near the edge of the box. Sebastiano Esposito takes the free kick, but the ball hits the wall. Following the buildup, Folorunsho heads the ball in; it's easy for Svilar.

48' – NO PENALTY. Çelik brings down Folorunsho in the penalty area: penalty for Cagliari. Then, a VAR check and the foul is on the edge of the area but goes wide. Red card for Çelik.
53' – Esposito takes a free kick: the ball goes over the wall, but Svilar blocks it safely. Meanwhile, the Giallorossi bring on Rensch for Baldanzi.
59' – LEAD DENIED! Obert makes a sensational run, getting in front of the opposition's powerful attack and firing a left-footed shot: Svilar blocks with his knee, saving Roma.
62' – Dybala, El Aynaoui, and Ferguson come on for Pellegrini, Cristante, and Soulè: triple substitution for Gasperini.
65' – Deiola's right-footed shot doesn't cause any problems. Cagliari continues to attack.
