Eight between posts and crossbars in six matchdays, the last two yesterday with Sebastiano Luperto and Roberto Piccoli. Cagliari, who got going yesterday in Parma, certainly does not have a good relationship with the woodwork: they are the team that has hit the woodwork the most – by far – in this start of Serie A.

A figure that is impressive if, in addition, it is compared with the five main European championships. The rossoblù are behind only Barcelona , who have hit ten but played two more games, eight against the six of Davide Nicola's team. But with a substantial difference: the blaugrana in La Liga are first with seven wins out of eight.

After Cagliari, there are two other European giants, Bayern Munich with six posts (in five Bundesliga games, they are top of the table) and Manchester City with five (in six Premier League games, where they are second). Together with the English, there is also Real Sociedad, fourteenth in the Spanish championship.

In Serie A there is no match: Cagliari has - certainly not in a fortunate way - doubled all the other opponents . After six days behind the eight posts and crossbars of the rossoblù there are the four hit by Atalanta, Lazio and Roma. All twenty teams have taken at least one, with Bologna, Empoli, Genoa, Inter and Venezia closing the ranking.

The post, also the same one of Suzuki's goal, of Luperto (before the disallowed goal for Mina) and Piccoli (always in the first half) could have led to further recriminations for Cagliari, and on Marin's goal the crossbar lent a hand with the rebound into the net. But Piccoli himself thought about erasing any talk of luck, with the very important goal 53'' after Parma's equaliser which was worth their first victory in the championship .
