A musical experience in complete darkness, which renews the centrality of listening: " Làmine " is the new initiative by Coru Aresti , which on Thursday 26th will illuminate the evocative and intimate Teatro Sant'Eulalia in Cagliari , at Via del Collegio 2 , with three consecutive performances featuring Andrea Cherchi , Danilo Casti and Nyah Bear (Edoardo Bosi). See you at 6 pm , in a new immersive experiment where sound becomes the only perceptible landscape.
Designed for those who recognize deep listening as an intense form of participation , "Làmine" is not intended as a conventional concert: abandoning the natural context of previous initiatives, it now embraces a more austere and historically rich space: the Teatro della Marina , which will be completely darkened for the occasion. No longer light as a source of illumination, but as a "blade" that pierces the pitch black and isolates only the essential , in a dense and vibrant darkness that welcomes the sound and makes it the only possible element, itself sharp and chiseling.
The three projects on the lineup, despite their different directions, all share a common pursuit of sound and timbral exploration. Cherchi , who has been active for over a decade and is known for his experimental projects Was and Santa , will preview a new phase of his career , based on the use of tapes and synthesizers and presented live as a constantly evolving modular structure, with real-time manipulation of recordings and samples.
Casti , a musician and composer who has been active for three decades, both solo and collaborative, most notably with Dalila Kayros , will present his latest performance, " UTNAPISHTIM – When the world was too loud. " Fragmented rhythms and ethereal sounds tell the story of the end of the world, a reorganization imposed by the force of chaos. Completing the trio is Bosi 's project, centered on rhythm, minimalism, and organic repetition, with European and African influences. On Thursday evening, this project will flow into research conducted exclusively on the Fender Rhodes electric piano , in a constant balance between analog affectations and digital dispossession.
With limited seating and restricted access during the live performances, "Làmine" will feature short breaks between artists, finally turning the theater lights back on at 9:30 PM . The initiative is organized in collaboration with Terzo and is supported by Cultìna , Loga , Bar Florio , and Theandric Teratro , who support Coru Aresti's efforts to minimize the distance between audiences, musicians, and organizers, putting the audience back at the center.
