Cagliari Primavera wins 4-1 in extra time against Ascoli and thus enters the round of 32 of the Italian Cup where they will face Cremonese (match to be played on November 1st). Good first half for the rossoblù who immediately took the lead with Achour in the 11th minute. The Sardinians could even double with Ardau and Malfitano.
In the second half the Marche team equalised, from a corner, with Cozzoli in the 57th minute. In the last half hour, Pisacane's team crushed Ascoli in their own half and built a series of chances without, however, puncturing Adamo. The Juventus goalkeeper is truly super, in the 85th minute, when he blocks Pulina's goal on a shot from the edge.
Regular time ends with a score of 1-1. In extra time Cagliari had a different gear compared to David Di Michele's team who moved their center of gravity too far back. At the start of the first half the Sardinians took the lead again thanks to the penalty converted by Pulina and won by Vinciguerra. From that moment on, the rossoblù dominated. First Konate closes the game at the start of the second extra period. Then Collu signs for the final poker. It ends 4-1 for Pisacane's team who thus achieve their second consecutive victory of the season after the one obtained on Saturday, in the championship, against Fiorentina.
On Sunday the rossoblù will host Bologna in Asseminello (eliminated by Cremonese, the Sardinians' next opponent in the Italian Cup) for the 5th day of the championship.
