The Rossoblù Primavera suffered another defeat after last Sunday's defeat against Milan. At the stadium “Tre Fontane” wins Roma 3-1. The result could have been even more severe but the saves of the Polish goalkeeper Wodzicki - unquestionably the best of the Sardinians - kept Cagliari afloat.

The summary of the race

Yet Pisacane's team hadn't started so badly. In the first 20' the rossoblù found the momentary lead with Marcolini .

However, after taking the lead, the Sardinians dropped too low and were actually crushed in their own half of the pitch. The Giallorossi came close to equalizing by hitting the post and the crossbar in quick succession with Graziani and Joao Costa. In the 31st minute Roma have a great chance with Pisilli who finds Wodzicki's response. From the next corner Golic, with his head, just misses the target.

The equalizer was in the air and arrived shortly after, in the 34th minute from a corner: Plaia scored, shooting higher than anyone else. Wodzicki saves in the 42nd minute from J. Costa but in the 44th minute he can do nothing on the Portuguese winger who, just before the break, turns the game around for the home team.

In the second half it is a yellow-red monologue. In the 52nd minute Romano took advantage of an error from the Cagliari defense and made it 3-1 . Cagliari pulls the plug, with Roma not giving up on attacking. Wodzicki, however, is super and denies the possible poker goal in the 58th minute, on Pisilli, and in the 70th minute, on Mlakar.

This is the second consecutive defeat for Cagliari, the third in the last four matches. The baby rossoblù will receive Torino in the next round in a match that promises to be fundamental for cultivating their playoff hopes.
