Cagliari coach Fabio Pisacane is trying to revise the strategies and formations tested during pre-season following Zortea's departure for Bologna and Piccoli's imminent departure to Fiorentina.

While waiting for possible replacements in the final rush of the transfer market, the coach is preparing for his debut against Viola with the idea of relaunching Zappa on the right flank in place of Zortea and fielding the new Esposito-Luvumbo pairing in attack.
