Great expectations at the Bflat in Cagliari , the jazz club in Via del Pozzetto directed by Marco Tullio Coco, for the arrival of Olivia Trummer scheduled for this evening, Saturday 22, at 9.30 pm for the only Sardinian date of her 2022 tour.

German composer and singer, Olivia Trummer was born into a family of musicians and develops her relationship with music as if it were a mother tongue, finding in it the best expression for her inner world.

During her classical studies she discovers her passion for composition and improvisation, which will later lead her to fly overseas for the Master's Degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.

His compositions draw inspiration from his entire career, naturally ranging from classical to jazz to the sphere of the singer-songwriter in which, thanks to the innate elegance of his voice, soft and versatile, he creates a unique and intensely poetic universe.

Winner of the prestigious Jazz Award Baden-Württemberg in 2019, she is internationally considered one of the most interesting artists of her generation.

Olivia Trummer will give life, in today's concert, to the live entitled “For You”, whose self-titled album is published by Warner Music Italy.

With her on stage two champions of the Italian jazz scene: Jacopo Ferrazza, double bass player of great experience and elegance, with many years of activity behind him as leader and sideman of international artists, and Nicola Angelucci, described by Benny Golson as "the best drummer of Europe ”, capable of thrilling the audience and musicians alike with its rhythmic elegance, its multiform dynamics and its empathic presence on stage.
